Chimney Sweep

The most important function of your chimney is to remove all the dangerous gases from your fireplace and woodstove. If it is dirty, it can not do its job and can cause a chimney fire. It is recommended that every homeowner have their chimney cleaned and inspected annually.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

According to the US Fire Administration, between 2002 and 2004 clothes dryers counted for about 15,600 reported structure fires, 15 deaths and 400 injuries annually. “Failure to clean” is the leading factor contributing to clothes dryer fires in residential buildings. DON'T BE THE NEXT STATISTIC!

Chimney Re-lining

A flue lining in a masonry chimney is defined as "A clay, ceramic, or metal conduit installed inside of a chimney, intended to contain the combustion products, direct them to the outside atmosphere, and protect the chimney walls from heat and corrosion."

Damper Repairs

Heat loss occurs when a chimney damper doesn't seal properly or is missing or broken. You can't see it, the heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer, just goes up the chimney and out of the house. It's like having a window open all year.

Masonry Repairs

It is unsafe for the chimney when there are loose or missing bricks. We do all types of masonry repairs from replacing brick to total rebuilds.

Crown Repairs

The Crown is the concrete on top of the chimney.  The main purpose is to allow moisture from rain, snow, sleet, or ice to flow away from the flue and onto the roof, preventing water from entering the chimney system.

Caps

It's very important to have a cap on your chimney. It keeps rain, debris and those critters from entering your home through the top of the chimney.

Gas and Oil Flues

Like a fireplace flue, your furnace and heating appliance venting system requires regular cleaning. Removing the particulate build-up that naturally develops should always be done by a professional.

Waterproofing

Moisture is the number one enemy to the chimney. The damage caused by moisture, if neglected, can ultimately result in a chimney fire or even a house fire. In addition, the damage caused by moisture in the chimney system can be extremely costly to repair. Waterproofing is one way to help in keeping the moisture out.

Gutter Cleaning

Homeowners often do not realize the important role the rain gutter system has in protecting their home from the damaging effects of water. Have your gutters professionally cleaned before you get water damage to your home.

Bird Guards

Keep unwanted guests  out of your vents!  By installing bird guards to your vents you prevent birds and other unwanted guests from making your home THEIR home. Birds nesting in your vents can be very harmful to your home and your health!
